Perfect for this weekend.
Last Halloween we made 4 Jedi robes to go with some Star Wars masks we bought. These are the instructions to make the robes. We wanted to make the robes with as few pieces of fabric and as little sewing as possible. I had never made anything resembling clothing before so patterns from the store were out of the question (too complicated). When you make your robe, think of it as a Mexican poncho that goes over your head, rests on your shoulders and happens to be sewn up the sides to make sleeves.
I tend to think though that they won’t be using such cheap material in the future for clothing, but I could be wrong. Maybe everyone will get to wear wool again.

3Star Wars does take place in the future. How do I know this? They managed to fix that problem where there is no sound in space.

5star wars doesn’t take place in the future…it takes lace a long time ago in a galaxy far far away…which means that it takes place in the past but in a galaxy more technologically advanced.

9Yeah… Star Wars is one of my favorite things im trying to make a GOOD robe not one like that actually. I mean you need and a brown robe, inner white tunic, and then a black shirt to go under the tunic. I mean Ive played Knights of the old republic and i was max lvl and had a different kind of robe but in KOTOR 2 i had a regualar robe. Maybe its just cause it takes place 4000 years b4 Galactic Civil War. Ah but who cares Brown robe white tunic and black shirt Thats all you need.

13dude starwars is the best movie for its timw when it came out in 76 and was released with no CG except fot the blaster fire those who dont apprecoiate it should just not bust on it if you dont like the robe specs dont read it DUH! when starwars 1 witch accually was 5 in a way came out they modded everything juccas has a genius mind and the onnly people you ever see now famous still if ford thantk to indiana jones but those who are not were still in good movies that just flew under the radar mark hamil(luke) was in a movie where he was an uncle of a verry troubles teen who went to jail and fisher (lehia) was in jay and silant bob strike back witch was a spoof in the end about starwars so starwars has a verry inspiring history and is verry influential to movies today
