Learn UNIX in 10 Minutes

Have a job interview that requires you to know UNIX, but you only have 10 minutes to prepare for it? This article is for you. Hell this article is for anybody who isn’t already a UNIX/Linux guru. It gives a quick rundown of the commandline commands that will get you around.

I definitely don’t use grep as much as I should. I just don’t use the commandline as much as I should or would like to. Using the GUI is sort of like reading comic books to develop you knowledge of the English language…it just doesn’t cut it.

    10 minutes, bah!
    Shell prompts rock!
    Clicky tools are for weenies!

Just kidding, if you check your logs you’ll see I’m posting this from an XP box: busted! But I really prefer the BSD flavors for running servers…~d

    Ha, you’re pretty funny Scrivs.

Glad I took the time to post it the first time. (*insert really appropriate Y!M emoticon here*)
