A California company has figured out how to use two simple materials — water and salt — to create a solution that wipes out single-celled organisms, and which appears to speed healing of burns, wounds and diabetic ulcers.
The solution looks, smells and tastes like water, but carries an ion imbalance that makes short work of bacteria, viruses and even hard-to-kill spores.
So simple, yet so effective.

1Wow… if I hadn’t bothered to read the site I would have just written it off as a prank… but this seems legit… salt water, who knew? Chemicaly it could work, I wonder about the claim that it does not to cell damage, I would guess it is like peroxide in the way that it works.

2It does cell damage. But only to single celled organisms. Not sure what the ramifications of it are when you take into consideration the beneficial bacteria we all have, but it’s definitely cool. Not a new idea, but like the article says, old renditions were very expensive and the liquid only lasted a few hours, where this lasts considerably longer. Very cool stuff.
