Motorolla and Apple aren’t the only ones planning on offering music to mobile phone users. Ericsson and Napster have announced a partnership to deliver music to cell phone users as well.
The companies said on Wednesday they will license the Napster-branded music service to mobile phone carriers, much as Ericsson currently sells services such as text messaging and voice mail.
The Napster/Ericsson phone should be released sometime in the next 12 months. The Apple/Motorola phone is due out sometime this summer.
