If you want to cool a six pack to 35 degrees within 5 minutes use salt, ice and water. Wish they would tell me how much salt, but I guess I can experiment.

Same principal used in an ice cream freezer.
This was on Mythbusters too, was a great tip for tailgating season, which is coming up.
