The King Kong movie trailer has been released and I must admit that it is a doozy. Peter Jackson has easily established himself as one of the top 3 filmmakers for this decade in my opinion.
My first impressions of Kong based on this trailer are strong. Jack Black seems to be a perfect choice, even though I can’t get any of his Tenacious D songs out of my head. However, after watching the original 1933 version of King Kong, I see that the role he is playing is definitely a weird fellow. Jack fits perfectly, from what I see in the trailer.
Kong looks incredible. There are limited shots, and not much motion shown in this first trailer, but from what was shown Kong is definitely the best looking CG character to-date.
It truly was a big day on Jesus Ranch even though sometimes you got to say please. I check my dipstick you need lubrication. My biznitch is the shiznit. And with karate I will kick King Kongs ass. Because friendship is great even though Kyle quit the band. All them folks in City Hall will rue the day that they told Wonderboy, Lee, Dio, and Explosivo that inward singing Rocks your Socks like a double team at the drive thru.
I don’t know. I imagine I would not be able to look at this movie seriously. Honestly from the trailor he looks like he plays the role really well; I would just find myself snickering about his past roles or lyrical stylings.
I want to hear jack say “Malt Beer! Meat off the bone!”
