Is OS-X poised to destroy Linux? I would venture to say that it’s nearly 100% likely that when working with Intel, they’re planning their own Intel-based machines. Windows might run on them, but OS-X won’t run on just any vanilla x86 PC. However, I think this could become a serious threat to Linux and it’s myriad of derivatives, depening on how Apple markets this.
Nah… nothing will change, 99% of the time a Mac is just a Mac… the end user does not care what is under the hood once it is home, asnd even if they care they just want the fastest on anyway… OSX won’t work on white boxes and windows won’t work on Macs… linux will always have it’s corner of the market.
