Most printers that do nothing but print directly on CDs are expensive. Here is a tutorial on how to convert an old Epson 640 Inkjet into a CD printer.

Although this article uses the 640 Stylus printer, there is a list of printers that use the same type of paper-feed mechanism that should work just as well.
