LaCie has released a drive specially designed for the Mac Mini. It fits perfectly under the Mini, making it seem like there are actually two Mac Mini’s stacked on top of each other.
Here are the specs on the drive:

One Response for "LaCie Mini Drive"

1Looks nice and very tempting, but one disclaimer. Based on (storage+speed)/price ratio, this is probably a 3.5″ desktop drive that needs external power. It also doesn’t have an internal fan–thus the claim of ‘whisper queit’. However, it’ll run hotter than the AMD processer back in the days(It has a little gap in between the drive and the Mini, but who’re we kidding here?). So the Mini will heat up because of the drive and the fan in the Mini is likely to run full time–thus, making the claim of ‘whisper quiet’ irrelevant. It may still very well be worth the switch from 4200rpm to 7200rpm.
