According to this forum thread on PearPC.net, the install DVD has leaked to a major torrent network.
As the NFO file suggests, the OS will not install on any normal PC. However, it is out there now, so it may only be a matter of time before someone hacks it up enough to work on any Intel-based computer.

It’s highly doubtful anyone will get it to run on generic PC’s. Apple doesn’t allow that sorta stuff. But have fun trying!
Apple didn’t develop the TCPA chip preventing it from running on unsecured X86 hardware, they are licensing it. Apple doesn’t have much say here over how secure or insecure the hardware is. This is the first time I’ve heard of those chips seeing real-world use (although I’m sure it isn’t the first application of it), so it could be the real test of the first generation TCPA implementation.
Yes, it will be interesting to see the results of the labours of all the geeks looking for that big prize… I know Apple has good reasons for not just selling the OS – But I’d certainly run OSX on my PCs if I could… I do have a mac too, so I’m not “deprived” or anything. :)
Waiting for those Mac-Tel laptops in SF CA
Apparently OSX86 has been cracked to run on X86 hardware. Video is available.
so much for the “It’s highly doubtful anyone will get it to run on generic PC’s. Apple doesn’t allow that sorta stuff. But have fun trying!” part! its done dude, runs nicely on one of my lappies (for verification reasons only ;o)) rite now.
