Rockstar Stops GTA: San Andreas Production

As a result of the “Hot Coffee” mods for GTA: San Andreas, the rating on the game was raised by the ESRB from Mature 17+ to Adults Only 18+.

Rockstar Games has ceased manufacturing of the current version of the title and will begin working on a version of the game with enhanced security to prevent the “hot coffee” modifications. This version will retain the original ESRB M-rating and is expected to be available during the Company’s fourth fiscal quarter. Rockstar Games will be providing AO labels for retailers who wish to continue to sell the current version of the title.

Rockstar is also said to begin working soon on a more secure version to prevent modification of GTA: San Andreas for PC.

Generate headlines that the game is going out of production, great way to spike sales. Between Hillary, the ESRB, and knee-jerk conservative groups Rockstar doesn’t even need an advertising budget; politicians, government sponsored groups and political action committees do the hard work for them.

this is frigging gay…rockstar shouldnt give a shit wat they gay ratings ppl care about…they shuld make gta games untill the company dosny exist…and one that agrees email me at pizzaman604@aol.com…..or im me at pizzaman 604…because i think that parents that hate gta can go to hell…gta rocks and nothing can convints me other wise…and any one that knows a gta worker please send this to them because i know that they need to make more gta games or alot of ppl are goin to be pissed and very disapointed so please forward this to a rockstar company site if possible
