It looks like we will seeing broadband speeds increasing upwards to what currently seems like a limitless level of 100mbps.
This technology is not years down the road, but maybe a year, as it might be released next fall.
Teleste is running a field-trial with cable TV service provider Essent in Netherlands, but not yet at the top speeds it expects most homes will need in a few years time.
“Based on our research 30 Megabits per second is the absolute minimum in future homes. Just one TV program would take 10-20 Megabits per second of this alone. So, very fast we would reach a need for 30 Megabits, and also for 50 Megabits per second,” Pekka Rissanen, a Teleste executive told a news conference.

1I remember back when FG had original content. Now it’s nothing but rehashed stories from digg and /.
It’s been fun guys, I’m out.

2Original content?
Well, I could write some original pieces if you want. Dunno how interesting it would be as I don’t have a press pass to any cool events, live in Canada, and my computer is over 2 years old. I could program something, but I doubt it would be FG worthy…
News has to come from somewhere, especially if you can’t be where the news is to experience it first hand.
Sorry that you don’t appreciate our sources, though I have written on here and found it soon after posted on Digg, so maybe sometimes they are rehashing ForeverGeek.
I will try harder to find more obscure stories, so you don’t feel like you are getting a bunch of repeated news.
