It looks like Time Warner has jumped on the IPTV bandwagon with their new offering in a limited area.
“Time Warner Cable is letting its customers in Mira Mesa and Tierrasanta watch television over their home computer’s high-speed Internet connection.”
Basically they get around 75 channels of content that has the same channels as their Advantage service, but it gives them another way to enjoy those channels.
If it works out, you will probably see it expand across their offerings to different parts of the U.S. and also be adopted by the rest of the world.
