What OS X Could Learn From Windows

I just read an interesting article with the above title.

Windows has some features OS X could do with.

There, I said it. Nice and quick and up front. No beating around the bush. So what now? Duck!!!

Is it safe to come out yet? I’ve been burnt before daring to suggest this. But here I am again, sucker for punishment.

It goes over some quick points on what OS X could learn from Windows and some go off on a bit of a tangent, but it is still an interesting read.

    According to a friend who may or may not work for Apple, the one-button mouse has survived so long for purposes of vanity. This friend tells me that Steve Jobs’ car lacks a front license plate. Despite numerous tickets for this infraction, Mr. Jobs prefers the clean look to the functional (read: legal) license plate. Apply the same to Apple’s design. Clean. Sleek. Pretty even. Not always the most functional, tho.

    Its not macs fault einstein.
    IBM won’t sell them the patent for the two button mouse.
    Ergo, it can’t be sold, by them.
    I can see how plugging in any third party mouse from another vendor would clearly challenge someone of your intelligence.

    @Slaughter

    I read at TUAW that the deal is apparently Steve Jobs counts as a “celebrity” and California law has some kind of law allowing celebrities to not use license plates.

    Nice article, I haven’t used the latest version of OSX much but I always wondered what things I would be “missing” from Windows if I did.
