Last night I downloaded a video from limewire and added it to my iPod. When I went to watch it on there, it worked fine, but when I downloaded the second video, I clicked on the title to play it and the screen went blank. I toggle the hold switch, but nothing happens. When I plug it into my computer, it says it cannot recognize the device because it is malfunctioning. Please help me!!!

ok, so basically im gonna preach my iPod problem, but i have a feeling no one is going to help me. my ipod is my life and i need it fixed NOW. i have a 30gb white ipod and its amazing! i plugged it into my dock to charge the other day, and then there was a thunder storm and the electricity went out. since, my ipod has not come on. ive tried resetting it, plugging it into my computer..EVERYTHING. i took it to radioshack and they said that the best thing i could do is send it into apple. but i shouldnt have to do that just so they can rape it, and make me spend a couple hundred dollars for them to fix it, when i could just get a new one. so basically; I NEED HELP..BADD and NOW!!!

Hi,
I seem to be having some problems with my 30GB ipod.
I can charge it from the wall but when I plug it into the computer USB port it keeps restarting itself and making funny noises. I have tried to reset it, tried putting it into disk mode and formatting it from itunes.

I have been on this comp for 3 days straight trying to update my music files to my ipod but it is stuck.
This is sooooo frustrating. Someone please help.
