Exactly, Microsoft products cost too high. They are giving people a reason to consider piracy is reasonable, or leave their products at all.

that is pretty wicked, considering the canadian governament just finally moved to windows XP last year (from windows 2000). would be nice to see them (and everyone) switch away from M$ as much as possible, even if it’s just using OpenOffice or another open source package instead of Microsoft Office. Any step in the right direction is a good step.
