Kevin Rose is revealing on his Blog that the big Apple event tomorrow (Sept. 7) will consist of two products: The Rocker and Nano.
- Cingular will announce an iTunes compatible phone – the “Rocker”
- New 2GB ipod called the “Nano” – it will sport a color screen and will be much smaller and thinner than a mini. Price = $199
He also claims that there will be no video iPod.
Others have been speculating that a new series of iPod Minis will be announced featureing flash-based memory instead of hard drives, and that all Minis will get a color screen.
I guess all we can do for now is wait and see.
The fact that there are 4 different kinds of iPods floating around nowadays, I hope this “nano” doesn’t get technologically challenged shoppers another confusion factor.

sarcasm is NEEEEEEEEEEVER wasted, especially on the internet. sounds to me like ipods are the new gameboy….gotta collect ‘em all! watch out for ipod jumbo, an ipod built into an 80′s ghetto baster style stero system, complete with fake spining tape decks to get that authentic look and feel!
