Shutterbook

For those of you that have been using Flickr and have filled your account, a new service from Shutterbook is currently in beta and is showing a fair amount of promise. While on beta, you can sign up and become a Premium member for free, for the lifetime of your account.

As a beta tester, your account will automatically become a Shutterbook Premium account, allowing you to store up to 20,000 photos!

If everyone would try it out and let me know what you think, I’d appreciate it.

aagh…. It really really sucks. It should be an alpha, not a beta. Everything you do seems to take forever, and everything is “One Moment Please”. uploading 1 photo took at least 3 minutes, compared to the less than 1 minute Flickr took for the same photo.

I couldnt log in until all the photos in the home page had loaded. How stupid is that? I dont care how much space and free stuff they give me, I will never use shutterbook.

On the random photos it had a naked girl holding two *****. Not the best first impression I must say.

I haven’t tried out slide.combut it looks interesting also.

I swear, people on FG have been extra cranky lately.

I like Shutterbook. Creating an account was very simple, the upload feature offers a nice drag and drop interface, creating an album and renaming it took no time at all, and you can drag and drop things to the trash even. Nice tool. Thank you for sharing it. I’ll be using it more soon to get more familiar with it and will be sharing it with my Make it Great community this week. Thank you again!
