Google announced the beta of Google Reader at the Web 2.0 conference today.

Your reading list helps you keep up with the latest news and updates from the sites you’ve subscribed to.

Scan your reading list and click on what looks interesting. You can order your reading list by date or by relevance.

You can star or label items you may want to check out again later. Reader will also keep track of what you’ve read and remove those items off your list next time you refresh.
