Update:I’ve been using Mac OS X 10.4.3 for a few hours now, and here are the things I’ve noticed.

Firstly, spotlight is noticably faster and so is Expose. Secondly, a bug that was in iChat that prevented some users from connecting to each other’s video and audio chats has been fixed. Thirdly, the front row script that I had posted on the site earlier, no longer works.

    IT KILLED FRONTROW!?!?!

WHAT IS A FIX FOR IT?!

  2. Alex Tan says:

Front Row works fine for me, but the script for it no longer works, I’m updating the story right now.

  3. John says:

How do you update your mac to 10.4.3? Everytime I go to Software Update it says my software is up to date?

  4. Alex Tan says:

john, software update is the way to do it, this may sound obvious, but you’re running tiger right? Also, sometimes it takes a while for updates to show up in my software update sometimes too for some reason.

  5. John says:

Yes, I’m running Tiger. It seems strange that it shows up for some and not others. I mean, you’d think it would be just like going to a website. If one person can see a news update on cnn.com, we should all be able to see the new software in software updates? :)

nope. it does not kill FR. after you launch the FR (by double clicking the Open FR.app or by using your shortcut key)….just press “esc” n whooalllaaaa!!! there’s your FR. works for me and hopefully works for you too. ;)

  7. Adam says:

He’s right. Pressing esc after opeining FR will launch it… it is much slower now though…
