No chance. No video iPods will be announced on the 12th. iTMS video content delivery service (subscription based)… just wait and see.

That’s part of the reason they’re not releasing it, if they have no content for the video iPod then more people will turn to piracy and ripping movies, which will give Apple a bad name.

Also, if they were to release an iPod video then it would be in direct competition with the iPod nano.

Right now I’m still not very sure if they will or will not release it, I’m just reporting what Think Secret is saying.

Just because Apple doesn’t have a service to deliever video today, doesn’t mean they will not be releasing one on the 12th.

new iPods and new Powerbooks usually don’t need a press event.
