ABCNews is reporting that Microsoft has tapped the same team responsible for The Lord Of The Rings Trilogy, including director Peter Jackson, to oversee production of the ‘Halo’ movie.
Jackson and his wife, Fran Walsh, will serve as the executive producers for “Halo,” which is targeted for worldwide release in mid-2007 by Universal Pictures and Twentieth Century Fox film studios.
The movie will be shot on location in New Zealand.
