GTA LCS contains the firmware upgrade to 2.00. You should have no problem

you can only play games u need to upgrade if u put in a game that works then when u start the game it goes to the white screen with psp writin on it, while its on that then quickly change the game to san adreas:lcs or any other game. make sure ur psp’s still on the white sreen. do this at ur own risk because i asked around and it might mess up ur psp so be careful.

i’ve played gta on 1.5 today. MPH new loader. Only works for 10 mins at the moment though. Release is next week.
there is a way to play gta lcs on a v1.5 psp.you need umd emulator and a couple other things to do so.yuo mind is weak and cannot understand that everything is possible and anything can be done.so that makes you a fucking idiot
GTA can now be played on 1.5 through a hack by MPH called MPH game loader. You can find it on their homepage. Be aware that there are two versions under the same name flying around. The full version, which is perfectly alright, was released about a week after the demo. Many have been complaining that the loader crashes after playing for 10 mins. If you read the information posted properly in manuals or on the website, you would know that this was an intentional feature of the demo. So I will say it again, the full version is available on the MPH homepage.
Additionally, you will need the ISO of GTA to run the game, decryptPRX included with the loader, and the 2.0 firmware on your memory stick, which can be extracted from a 2.0 update eboot using MPH firmware loader. I believe any UMD will do. I can also confirm that with this loader, Metal Gear Acid 2 is now playable with saving enabled unlike before. Check it out anyway. This is a big bonus for those with 1.5 firmware PSPs. A big thanks to MPH for this. And as they say “1.50 is not dead”. Just make sure you buy the original UMD before using any ISOs.
i can play gta w/out mph’s loader, its easy, just used wab version changer with a modified iso of gta and kaboom
don’t talk shit kontuki, you can only play gta:lcs on 1.50 psp using mph 2.00 game launcher. WAB version changer won’t work coz gta:lcs needs an ENCRYPTED PRX in order to run on 1.5. so shut the f**k up will ya?

Here in BKK you can buy copy psp games for 200 baht (5 dollars) each but I was under the impression that they were free on the web. And some of you can’t play gta? Ouch! LMAO!!! and YES!!! u can play GTA: LCS on the Firmware 1.50, how come?, all you need is a DevHook, what is a devhook? a devhook is a tool that emulate other firmware, like, 1.50 jumps to firmware 2.71, but that just temporaly, if u fully shutdown ur psp u will have the 1.50 again, so yeah, and for those ppl that want to upgrade your psp, theres still away, ust download the updates pbps and thats it, update ur psp to the firmware u want, lol sry about flaming, but that just came out ;), cya guys, and good luck
