For those of you that enjoy always being on the go a Japanese company, canopus, has released a pocket TV tuner for PC (but is more suited for laptops). Only restriction is that you need to have a 1.2Ghz processor and Windows (no word for Mac yet).

It will be available from Mid-December onwards but there’s still no word on what the price will be.

1What’s the big deal about this when usb tv tuners have been out for years? In fact, even usb HDTV tuners are out.

2Canopus use to make the best 3dfx cards out there. I still have one of their cards. I haven’t heard from them in a long while.

3The quality which these small devices produce is so crap in some places, it’s just not worth it!
