According to “the Brig”, the Apple rumor mill is spinning with speculation that Apple will not only release the new 13.3″ widescreen iBook, it will also release the iBook in two colors, black and white, following the success of the black iPod Nano and iPod Video.

The better sale performance of Black coloured models has been widely observed in the iPod product line and would be expected to be observed in the Intel powered iBook line as well. The Brig expects the Black iBook to preform more strongly in sales upon initial release citing reasons as a “more classic, professional appearance” and “a look that some customers are more comfortable with”.
