Ok, so the 360 is super hard to find right now. There are stories everywhere of people standing in line for hours and sometimes days just to get one. I ordered one this morning from the comfort of my home online. Sure, I won’t have it by Christmas, but that is only because I didn’t choose the express shipping.
Here is the deal. Circuit City is apparently getting a small shipment daily that they are selling only on their site. You can find them by going to this page. Most of the time, the Sold Out graphic will show up. However, if you hit it in the morning at the right time, they have some in stock that you can order. If you pay the extra $35 for Express Air shipping, they can have it at your doorstep the next day.
If you want to keep an eye on the page without having to sit there and reload it constantly, check out the Xbox 360 Live Inventory Locator. It keeps a running list of online stores that are selling the 360 and updates regularly throughout the day.
If you want to be even lazier, you can follow these directions and set up a system that will monitor the pages for you on your desktop.
By the way, the best time to check the Circuit City site is around 9am EDT. That seems to be the magic hour when they start showing them as avaiable. Good Luck.
A sad episode for Circuit City

1I feel like an oldtimer for saying this(guess approaching 30 is old here), but what’s with the xbox craze? We all know that first generation consoles all have flaws(such as overheating for xbox360) and promising games aren’t even out yet. And some games like King Kong or Prince of Persia TTT are already available in PC.
