Google is officially launching access to Gmail via mobile devices. This has been possible for some time, but mostly through hacks or third-party services.
There is a list of phones that have been successfully tested with the service available on their website. You can either point your phone’s browser to http://m.gmail.com or go to the Gmail Mobile site and have a text message sent with the URL.
Here is the list of carriers and phones that support Gmail Mobile.
