Apple is hosting it’s annual MacWorld conference today, where it is expected to release some Macs that use Intel processers, along with other products. Kevin Rose, former TechTV host, and digg.com founder has posted on his blog information that he says he has “heard”. Kevin Rose’s last prediction about the iPod nano was correct, and the information that he is giving out now is probably correct because of the friends he made while working at TechTV. These are his predictions:
15″ intel Macbook – order tomorrow, ships Feb (thinner, dual core)
iPod FM receiver
iWork/Life ‘06
New remote of some type
Photocasting (iPhoto)
OS X.4.4 w/new widgets
These predictions are probably correct, although I think there are more announcements than just these. In addition to these predictions, these products will probably be announced.
iWeb, (included with iLife ‘06, possible blogging tool)
Powerbook G5 (May be replaced with MacBook, slightly possible)
