Back in “old” days of PS1, the special versions of the Final Fantasy games usually came with a t-shirt, some stickers and a poster, but nowadays they just throw in a whole new console altogether.

Besides the console bearing the symbol the package will also include cables, vertical stand, controller and a cellphone strap.
Of course, that this is a Japanese only release as usual. However, a Square Enix representative told 1-Up that they might release it in PAL territories if the demand is high enough. No luck for Americans though.

1Besides Japan, America is the top consumer of electronic goods. Therefore it makes no sense to me why there are so many Japan, and other market only releases. Seems like a bad business model.

2They usually bring these special edition consoles out in Japan and Europe only because it sells better there than in America. Sounds stupid, but it’s true, and that’s the reason why.
