It is interesting that after YEARS in Beta - accounding to various traffic measuring sources, Yahoo News has many times the visitor traffic of Google News

weblogs.hitwise.com/bill-tancer/2006/05/google_yahoo_and_msn_property.html

Google news, although in Beta for years, only really announced twe big upgrades - one was just how news sources would be ranked, and the inclusion of IMAGES

What were they doing in Beta - it is hard to see any real substantial changes in all of those years. With Yahoo, the changes were ongoing and obvious

I've used Google News every day without a single problem. I wonder what took so long for it to come out of beta.
