In case you don’t know, Xooglers is blog maintained by two former Google workers and they write some interesting and sometimes funny articles about their experience in working with Google.

(Among those, they have one about funny things one of them remembered saying during his first year at Google like this one: “They’re laying the carpet tomorrow? I kinda like it open and industrial like this. Cubicles? You really think we’ll need that many workplaces?”)

What happened was that Google contacted them to talk about their blog. Even though the author isn’t very worried (it should just be to clearly state what company secrets or details he shouldn’t talk about), could this be the turning point for Google where they stop being so nice and “open” to the public and become more sensitive to what is said about them?

I guess only time will tell, but personally, I’d be disappointed if it was.
