Once you get past the fact that the two are siblings, you get caught up in the action and the "let them live, what have they done to you" theme. However, after learning one of my friends hated the series, an in-depth discussion led to my great distaste for Angel Sanctuary. She compared the Setsuna-Sara relationship to various members of our mutual acquantince and their siblings. Needless to say, the result was abominable. However, the art is nice, and, if you can forget that you or anyone you know has siblings, you can enjoy the volumes to their fullest.
