So Apple is holding a special event on Tuesday, February 28 in Cupertino. It is an invite-only affair for the press, and the rumor mill has already started churning as to what they could be releasing. Many are speculating that we will at least see the Intel iBooks, as well as a possible Intel Mac Mini. Beyond that is up for grabs.
Then this shows up.
Many are saying that the image above is the next iPod – the “true” iPod Video – and that it will be part of the event on Tuesday. That remains to be seen. One thing to consider is that the morning of the last event like this (One More Thing…), an image very similar to this was leaked showing the 5G iPod that was announced later that day. You be the judge.
Well… if those are standard floor boards, each about 2″ wide, then this ipod is more like a monitor and about 5 or 6″ wide and approx 8″ long, not exactly a portable is it?! I think it is a fake. I think someone took a pic of an apple monitor and photoshoped it onto a picture of these floor boards.

I think that is a Photoshopped picture of an iMac G4 Monitor and then just made it to look like an “iPod”

There’s a video on the web that appears to show the ipod above in use. It looks to be touchscreen.
this is certainly not an ipod more so a monitor. The touch screen ipod is on the way i suspect. When? I bet apple gets in on the christmas rush and we see the new pod in early december.
How do you turn it on? Touch the screen?

5G iPod Video with a shopped screen taking up the whole iPod. I’ve tried to do the same and it isn’t hard.
With the iPhone, it wouldn’t surprise me if this was the design of the next new iPod.
