It's a stereo with an iPod dock. It doesn't even have a bigger screen in case you want to see what music is playing without being too close to it. I did like the new universal dock though compatible with the Apple Remote. Since I'm getting an iPod soon it's perfect for me (since I don't have a stereo). It’s nice to have a good stereo for your iPod I guess, but why are so many people regarding this as a revolutionary device? It’s a stereo with an iPod dock.

It doesn’t even have a bigger screen in case you want to see what music is playing without being too close to it.

I did like the new universal dock though compatible with the Apple Remote. Since I’m getting an iPod soon it’s perfect for me (since I don’t have a stereo).

The new boombox is nothing special in form and function, except for the ridiculous price tag. The new minis get a faster processor, but the video cards now share memory with ram: Video is slower and less available ram.
