AppleInsider is reporting that when Apple begins shipping the new MacBook Pro notebooks this week, they will have a faster processor in them. The $2.499 model will have a 2 GHz Intel Core Duo processor, rather than the 1.83 GHz that has been advertised. The $1,999 model will have a 1.83 GHz rather than the 1.67 GHz chip.
Speaking of MacBooks, Amazon is still offering $150 mail-in rebates on both models.
