You can activate it with a hotkey and open programs or web pages, search websites, shut down/log off your computer, and it even has a macro system for automation. 		<description>You really got my hopes up when I came across this on Google.  AppRocket is nice, but not nearly as good as QuickSilver.  There is a lot of functionality that just isn&#039;t available on AR that&#039;s built in (or available in a plug in for) QS.

Also, the current version (1.2) of AR came out a couple of years ago, and hasn&#039;t been updated since.  Not that I&#039;m trashing AppRocket too much, it&#039;s a pretty nice program and certainly better than nothing.

I&#039;m definitely going to check out Launchy, as mentioned by Jeff King in the comment above.</description>
