Lately a few articles have been rising on the internet questioning how much Google observes and registers the information that us, users, deliver to them without even knowing.
Knowing that Google had this info, the Department of Justice demanded billions of URLs and search queries from them just to find out that World of Warcraft is more popular than Leonardo da Vinci.
Google refused to deliver the data. The judge completely removed the search queries from the subpoena and reduced the demanded URLs to 50.000 and Google will comply to this.
So even though Google might be gathering information from us and we don’t care it’s nice to see that Google is against bringing “any” of that information out to the public, or private, eye.
