IGN.com is confirming that the next Halo game is set for release in Spring of 2007. IGN is saying that their source was an anonymous one at Microsoft. Luckily for Nintendo and Sony, Halo 3 will not coincide with their release of the Playstation 3 and the Nintendo Revolution. There are not really any details regarding the game so far, but previews are expected at E3.

Bill Gates is gonna use Halo 3 to overshaddow the release of the PS3, Halo 3 has alwready had most of the work done on it, there are not gonna be many more upgrades on Halo 2, most of the models are the same, the only difference is the new engine and HD textures.
Halo 3 will be ready long before the release of PS3, best chance is Microsoft will delay the launch.

wow you people are useless. They would not hold a game out for this long with NO word about it whatsoever even with the release of the Wii and PS3 loomimng up. If they were going to coincide the release with the consoles they would have to advertise in advance to get hype about…not just tell about it a week or two before th release. you need to use your heads.

Ah… Yes Halo 2 was some what disapointing after waiting so long. Halo is probly going to be better though because they hired like 70 more people on their staff. Some one said that that would be the only good game. YAH RIGHT!!!!!! Get you words strait! OBlivion is a great game pertcuarly though after you beat the game twice and watch that dragon beat dagoth twice and beat everything twice i do admit it does get a little bit boring (unlike morrowind). Bungie straight said that What bill gates said was incorrect. Apparently everyone here Is fine with mommy and daddy shelling out over $1000 for a system and 1 game and a controler…. Some of us buy our own stuff and that is rediculous. $85 dollars for a game no thank you… Xbox is just plain a better deal. For those first person shooter fans PDZ is already out and a great game that is way under rated. Xbox has a year on the ps3 with games that are coming out. All the way Xbox. And im not one of those people that is biased i own a ps2 and xbox1 and n64 and camecube. The wii does look good tho especially for half as much as a 360 is. also on the release date for H3…pretty much anywhere is saying q1 of 07. They are not rushing it they are actually making a good game with time spent into it….

I agree being able to afford a gaming system is very important. Although the Xbox isn’t the greatest price, it still has PS3 beat by a long shot. The Wii does look pretty cool I kkinda like the idea of the new controllers. I love my xbox 360 call of duty is a good shooter game and so is ghost recon, open your mind a little bit to other games and you might enjoy Xbox a little bit more! the most we will have to wait for halo 3 is another year but as long as it kicks ass (which I expect it will) I am good. All I gotta say people no plasma for the flood get ready to have masses of the flood coming your way!!!

Eevryone thinks that they know what the hell is going on but the point is that halo 3 isn’t out and its looks sweet. PS3 is expensive but im pretty sure you guys all have jobs right. Well if u save up a little money you can easily afford it. Also, how does halo 2 suck? and ill only agree with you if u only played the game for a few weeks then threw it in the trash.
