Well, from the title you can already know what the bad news are. The good news is that it will be a global release, which is great for me (since I’m European).

The PS3 will come with a 60gb Hard Drive and use Blue Ray disks, but we already knew that right? Similar to what the PS2 did to PS1 games, it will also enable a high-res texture support for the current Playstation 2 games.

Ok, so this isn’t the best announcement Sony has made lately, actually Sony hasn’t made any good announcements lately… but at least they broke the ice about something!

Now, if only they’d confirm the thinner 4gb HD PSP…
