Ever since the date was set for the PS3’s release Sony’s stocks have started rising and people are already anticipating that it will take the market by storm. As if that wasn’t bad enough for Microsoft already, Sony also announced that their multiplayer network will be completely free for community features and online gaming as they intend to make their revenue out of content downloads.
Another difference is that Sony will allow developers to set their multiplayer servers as they see fit, giving developers much more freedom than Microsoft’s XBox Live platform.
Yet another new feature that the PS3 will have is that it will be able to run games directly from the hard-drive (which will be a 60gb one at the time of launch).
