If you are like me, you probably dislike the current “trend” some cellphones are following in trying to put “full” qwerty keyboards on cellphones, or just try to squeeze the keys even more in order to put a bigger and brighter screen.
In the UK the VKB (Virtual Keyboard) is starting to be applied. Sure, it makes your cellphone use a bit more limited, since you’ll probably need a particular surface and light intensity in order to use it, but it beats making cellphones bigger than soap bars.

I for one welcome our new VKB overlords.

1There’s a sense of satisfaction with the tactile and audible feedback a real keyboard gives you. I’d prefer typing on a keypad using T9 instead of on a table.
Nonetheless, I think this is a good idea for those who’d rather have fullsize keybs. If I ever need one on the road, I’d be using my laptop!
