If you’re a gadget lover like myself you have probably suffered a few times from reading difficulties on some devices. The last devices I owned which I remember I could read them very well (if at all) under sunlight, were the PSP, my former MP3 player, and a Sony Ericsson T610. But I’m sure there are plenty more which suffer from the same problem.
These new LCDs were made to display colors clearly regardless if we are under sunlight or ambient light.
By optimization of its optical design, the new LCD achieves the highest level of luminance and reflective ratio in the category of semi-transmissive LCDs with a high luminance of 220cd/m2 and a high reflective ratio of 15%.
Any improvement in this area is more than welcomed… what’s the point in owning a portable device that will help you entertain yourself outside if you can’t use, or in this case, view outside?
