Thanks to a talented coder known only as PSMonkey it seems that we will soon have a functional Nintendo 64 emulator to play on the go. I’ve been following this project ever since it only ran N64 homebrews and from the last videos I must say that my hopes are higher than ever.

Despite the obvious rendering errors, the games are running at a surprisingly playable rate. More news on this promising project as they arrive.

1How about a usable N64 emulator for XBox or PC? I’ve yet to see one that is compatible with Bomberman 64 beyond playing one level.

2Well, I don’t know about XBox, but there is a quite good one for PC called Project64. Google it ;)

5Button Configs:
R=R
L=Shift
Joystick=Joystick
D-Pad=D-Pad
X=A/Z (Depending on game. EX. GE64 you’d probably want X to be Z, Mario Kart 64 is the opposite.)
Square=B
Triangle/Circle=L/A/Z (Also completely dependent on the game you’re currently playing. But L is rarely used for a different thing than R so it’s not too necessary.)
Shift+X=Down C
Shift+Square=Left C
Shift+Triangle=Top C
Shift+Circle=Right C
