The PSP scene has been pretty quiet lately. There are still breakthroughs being done in terms of UMD loading, but if piracy isn’t your thing, then there isn’t much else happening, well, at least not as much as before.
Tomorrow Sony will release the first downloadable demo for the PSP, Loco Roco. Which will not only be a first for the Portable Console (and not a minute too soon if you ask me), but will also, hopefully help the homebrew community develop new ways of loading homebrew software. Perhaps it’s Sony’s indirect way of saying they don’t want the homebrew community to die, so they’re giving a helping hand. Regardless of which the case, Loco Roco is looking very promising and fun to play, so look forward to it tomorrow.
