Samsung has just released in Japan the very first Nand Flash laptop/origami devices. While the space is pretty limited at the time (the drive’s capacity is only 32GB), it does come with many positive points to them.
Those being, the complete silence, in which the machines operate, and the write and read speeds of them. Not to mention, the increased battery life.

I think that Nand Flash drives are the future for all portable devices, and if the other manufacturers don’t get their act together Samsung will rule supreme in this market for many months.
