It seems that the bar has once again been raised by the PSP developers, and Sony will have to increase the pace, in order to flee from the homebrew software community.
A developer known only as hitchhikr has delivered a proof-of-concept demo that demonstrates the exploit, bringing a smile to the lips of many gamers. I don’t know if this will set back the upcoming PSP modchip a lot, but at least it will bring some spark back to the PSP homebrew scene that seems to be slowly fading, as harder and harder methods are required in order to run homebrew.
Expect a whole batch of new or re-released homebrew programs for this new exploit soon enough. And, surely, a new eboot loader from Fanjita.
