After Ain’t it Cool News posted a leaked photograph (obtained without permission) of one of the animatronic robots used in the upcoming Transformers movie, Don Murphy just about had a seizure. The robot-modes of the Transformers are a heavily-guarded secret for the Producers at Paramount and Industrial Light and Magic. Murphy is specifically targeting Harry Knowles and is threatening legal action for posting the photograph.

While the photo has been taken down by all major news websites (once again, due to threats of legal action from Paramount lawyers), the photo has been circulated all over the internet and is rather easy to find with a little searching. As a personal opinion, the little I saw of the robot (the photo’s not as crazy-revealing as you’d think) has gotten me extra-hyped for the movie. So whether all this fuss is just a publicity stunt or not is inconclusive, but it appears to be working.
