The next edition of Skype, version 2.5, apparently will allow you to send or request money via Paypal directly inside the Skype software. This is not much of a surprise since eBay, Paypal and Skype are all family.

Is this really all that revolutionary, or just the kind of thing we can expect from those three companies. There have been rumours of being able to have Skype conversations during eBay auctions. That would be nice, being able to talk to the person holding the auction, or holding Skypecasts and doing live bidding auctions through voice… “going once, going twice…sold! Paypal me the money now…”
