Superman Returns: Reviewed

 Superman Returns: Reviewed

So I went to see the highly-anticipated Superman Returns yesterday, and here’s my review chronicling my thoughts. In short, the movie wasn’t everything I’d hoped it would be, and I STILL don’t buy Brandon Routh, but it wasn’t terrible. You can read the full review Right Here.

So the long-awaited Superman Returns has finally hit theaters. While the movie-itself managed to hit theaters, the outcome was both hit and miss. The story held up relatively nicely, save for some weak elements that felt too convenient or tacked-on. Most of the actors played their roles perfectly, save for the most important one. Overall, Superman Returns wasn’t as “super” as it was “somewhat above average”.

I saw this movie last night, and I completely agree with this review. I felt exactly the same as the author for each character.

  2. I’ve yet to see it, but I look forward to it. It sounds like it will be roughly what I was expecting to see. I was disappointed that they kept the Luthor from the original films, but it seems that they used him pretty well.

I want to see it but I probably won’t be able to for a while :( oh yeah, and if you see Emma Castleberrys name on this website, we’re twins

I saw this movie. I wasn’t impressed. I think Superman was a man of VERY few words, and had an easy job memorizing lines. His last words in the movie are used earlier in the film- think maybe he forgot his line and decided to say the same thing he had said earlier.

    *Possible Spoiler*
