I still own a bevy of G1 toys that I love, but the die-cast construction makes them impossible to play with and hard to store without scratching. It's really pleasing to me that kids ages eight to eighty are going to have the oppertunity to toss around some Transformers that don't mar or bend easily, don't have sharp edges and snappable joints, and that do have what made the original line so much fun: color, functional design and character. On the bright side, however, the Classics line will be accompanined by Hasbro's "Titanium" series, a line of pure die-cast Transformers! The first two on the list that are of interest are Optimus Prime and Megatron in their designs from "The War Within" comic (though Megatron's toy was slightly redesigned by Don Figueroea).
